Any of the following services can be combined or adapted to suit particular needs. but these are typical:
Drafting a Quality or Environmental Manual
For smaller firms especially who may not be able to afford to retain a consultant all that may be needed is the "kick start" towards eventual certification, whether ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. We will draft the system manual based on your business operation, allowing you to complete the detailed local information regarding file names, records etc. This effectively provides the route map to eventual compliance. Do note however that the drafting of a manual includes follow-up advice and guidance via phone or email right through to certification at no extra cost.
Full consultancy
Where processes are more complex, or where internal resources are not available, to carry out the necessary implementation work, especially where this may involve some degree of process re-engineering. Follow-up consultancy could amount to just one or two days, or as much as you need to see you through to certification.
Environmental Reviews
A full environmental review of an organisation is used as a means of producing the Environmental Aspects Register that is a requirement under ISO 14001. The review will usually entail one day and include the initial documenting of the relevant Aspects.
Business Continuity Management
If you need to implement a Business Continuity Management system (whether or not to reach BS 25999) we can provide all the help you need or just some pieces of consultancy to get you going. This could include help with the initial Risk and Impact analyses, through to documenting the actual recovery plans themselves.
Integrating separate management systems
If you are already running separate management systems and certifications for say ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 then there is a good case for integration given the overlaps in the Standards. There is also scope for internal efficiency improvements as well as potential savings on certification surveillance visits if using the same Certification Body.
"Dummy Assessment" Audits
A dry run style audit prior to external assessment can be very useful for getting staff used to the style of auditing employed by external certification bodies, as well as highlight residual deficiencies or nonconformities. Dummy assessments will usually amount to ONE day's work.
Internal Auditing
For smaller businesses it can be cost effective to outsource some or all of the periodic internal auditing that is required under these Standards, as well as perhaps carrying out some regular maintenance on the management system.
General Process Improvement
We can undertake general process improvement work which could involve work on an existing management system based on industry best practice combined with a highly practical approach.
